Brewing Guide

  • Bring fresh, filtered water to a gentle boil (100°C).
  • Add 2–3 teaspoons of loose tea into an infuser.
  • Place in your cup or teapot and pour over the hot water.
  • Brew for 3–5 minutes, then remove the infuser.

  • Place 1 filter bag in your cup and pour over the hot water.
  • Brew for 3–5 minutes.

Take a breath. Let this be a pause in your day.

  • Place 1 filter bag or 2–3 teaspoons of loose tea into a jug of cold water.
  • Cover and steep in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours - or overnight for a deeper infusion.
  • Strain if needed, then enjoy over ice or as is.
  • Brew your tea hot first: bring water to a gentle boil, then steep 1 filter bag or 2–3 teaspoons of tea for 3–5 minutes.
  •  Let it cool slightly, then pour over a glass full of ice.
  •  Add fruit or herbs if it feels right.

I can't drink caffeinated drinks any more sadly as they seem to trigger migraines for me. So I'm always on the lookout for caffeine-free options which actually taste good. They are quite few and far between. This chai tastes DELICIOUS and is great even without milk -- I drink it every day just as black tea. Love it!
